The Art Test gives each student a chance to showcase their understanding and abilities by answering theoretical questions and putting their knowledge into practice.
Each student starts out with a blank canvas, a pencil, an eraser and their artistic perspective. From there the students get to decide what area of the modelled object they would like to focus on for their test and they begin their sketch. Using what they have learned the students use their shapes, lines and perspective to create their representation of the modelled object.
Once they are satisfied with their drawing they move onto the painting portion of the test. During this section students put their painting knowledge to work by applying both oil and mixed media techniques to get the best results. Our students never cease to amaze us with their talent creativity, art knowledge and application.
Below are links to our study guides for the theoretical portion of the exam.
