Port Moody Art Classes – Terms & Conditions

  1. Classes are a 55 minute class, (25 minutes drawing and 30 minutes painting), and please for a delay of ten minutes maximum after the class is finished.
  2. All art classes fees must be paid before September, 2017. There is non-reimbursable fee of $55.00 which includes the registration, art test and one art T-shirt. Provide 10 post-dated cheques for $75.00 for September 2017 to June 2018. Cheques are to be made payable to “Evelia Espinosa” and will be dated for the first of each month covering September through June. Cash is not accepted.
  3. Please park your car in the indicated areas. As per the regulations of the facility, cars parked in prohibited areas will be towed at the owner’s expense.
  4. Holidays & Cancellations: Classes are not held on statutory holidays. Cancellations are only to be made before November 30th, 2017, no cancellations are accepted and refund after December 1st, 2017.
  5. Unfortunately, we do not make-up for any missed art classes for sports, trips, competitions, and other activities. Please contact the staff if your child is sick in advance and we will make-up the art class.
  6. NSF Cheques: All returned cheques a charge of $25 will be applied.
  7. Please do not bring any snacks such as a small candy may be provided at the end of the class. If you do not want us to provide candy to your child, or if they have allergies or other dietary restrictions, please write it on your registration form in the allergies section.
  8. Each student will be in one of the following levels: Beginner, Intermediate, Mixed Medias, Abstract, Advance, Advance Oil Technique, Advance acrylic Technique or Advance Oil Technique and only Mixed Media, Abstract and Advanced students paint on + sized canvas.
  9. The test of skill level is mandatory for all students unless stated otherwise.
  10. A change of levels comes after a student has passed a test. The students will be tested on skill and theory according to the level they are in. The test will take place once a year and will be held on class day. Parents are welcome to attend.
  11. At the time of registration, a parent’s consent (optional) is required in order to permit their children to be photographed and/or interviewed, to promote the studio and most importantly to show their wonderful art to others.
